Studio Morena housing complex consists of two, 12 storey buildings connected with each other and a 15-storey landmark. The project will visibly change the shape of Morena district, one of the most popular and fastest growing parts of Gdańsk.
Every resident of the Tri-City area is well aware of the qualities of the Morena district, one of the best connected and easily accessible parts of Gdańsk. Morena is bisected by a tram line, as well as numerous bus routes and a railway track of Pomorska Kolej Metropolitarna. The entire transit system is supplemented by the wide, newly upgraded ul. Rakoczy thoroughfare, which connects Morena with the Wrzeszcz district, as well as with ul. Słowackiego street. An extension of ul. Bulońska street, the future site of a new tram line connecting Morena with Jasienie, Ujeścisko, Szadółki and Zakoniczyn districts, is just starting. The residential complex is located in the immediate vicinity of Trójmiejski Park Krajobrazowy nature reserve and the Jaśkowa Dolina park, while view from the top floors of the buildings, standing on glacial hills, consists of either the picturesque sight of the bay of Gdansk or the city view. Green parts of the complex take up some 10,000 sqm, including a 3,000 sqm wooded area. Morena is fully equipped with municipal infrastructure, including schools, medical clinics and shopping centers.
- Studio Morena project sill features a wide range of three-room units. The few two-room apartments remaining are also available. All the units have their own terraces or gardens, says Wioletta Kleniewska, Sales and Marketing Director at Polnord SA.
The complex will be protected by 24/7 security monitoring and each unit will be equipped with its own video intercom. The stairways will be connected by a stylish-looking hallway. Also at residents’ disposal will be quiet-running elevators and a two-level parking lot with 354 parking spaces. Residents will also have access to 105 above the ground parking spaces and 318 storage rooms.
- It is a big challenge to design an interesting, recognizable project on a demanding market such as TriCity. Studio Morena is one such project, which has a chance to become the landmark and a symbol of this part of Gdańsk. At the same time it will highlight the fact that Tri-City is one of two markets, aside from Warsaw, where the Polnord group is the most active, says Dariusz Krawczyk, the CEO of Polnord SA.
